Do you spread a little sunshine

Almost ev’ry where you go?

Do you keep in touch with Jesus

So your light will not burn low?

Do you try to walk the pathway

In the steps that He has trod?

Do you seek to point the weary

To the peaceful life with God?

Are your words to others spoken

With the salt of grace and charm

So that we can walk together

In the kingdom arm in arm?

Do you have the mind of Jesus

Who in likeness of a man

Obeyed God without a murmer

And now sits at His right hand?

Do you think of your example

To your little girl or boy

Who will follow in your footsteps

To your sorrow or you joy?

Do they see you say or do things

That would lead their souls astray?

Are you leading them to Heaven

In the strait and narrow way?

Do you weep with those in sorrow

And reach out to those in pain?

Do you feed the cold and hungry

Without thought of worldly gain?

Do you sing with happy Christians;

Do you laugh with those in cheer?

Does your love for one another

Show that from your heart you care?

Do you know you can be happy

Only when your love shines through?

Give your heart and soul to Jesus;

You’ll spread joy and sunshine, too!
